More captains enters the scene and once again my favorite characters get a good old beating. The fight had an unexpected twist when the little guy made Mask come back with only his cheering. It's silly, but fits the whole wrestler theme going on there. The Superstar ability better have a direct connection between the two and not just activated by anyone who cheers on Mask.



Kensei is one of the most strait forward characters in Bleach and it was good to get an explanation of his bankai/shikai ability. Hopefully he'll come back again, in vizard mode (please don't have it end like Shinji being one-shotted).



The relationship between Kensei and Shuuhei is interesting to me. They still have to work on getting well balanced as captain and vice captain. I'm sure Kensei cares about him, he just have a rough way in showing it. He wants Shuuhei to live up to his full potential and the poor guy really tries his hardest. He'll get up again, I believe in him. Go Shuuhei, you have to prove yourself in front of your captain and make him eat his words about you being pathetic.

Yawn, another boring chapter, when will they get to the real story I wonder.

What was the point of Kensei's Bankai changing form? Punching in blade form seems like it would be a lot more lethal than those dull brass knuckles. He clearly said wasn't trying to hold back so why make him put on the kid gloves to fight?
