Why is it weird that Ichigo looks like Kaien? During his father's flashback it was revealed that Isshin is a Shiba, meaning Ichigo and Kaien are relatives. Isn't normal for relatives to look like each other?



Which unlike Bleach didnt just create "plot twists" that had no foreshadowing or werent speculated by readers.



Nobody said that it is weird(I am referring to the 2 posts that I know that mentioned Kaien.)

After reading the Mangastream translation everything makes more sense now lol.

Question. If this Zangetsu isn't Ichigo's real zanpakuto spirit, does his bankai look similar to what Zangetsu is wearing. Also, why did Ichigo's real zanpakuto spirit decide to let an impostor take his place? And even say that he (the real spirit) didn't have a name and play the role of Ichigo's hollow form. For anyone who says that the real spirit is just a hollow form THEN who IS Ichigo's real spirit?



From the beginning Zangetsu has been with Ichigo from the start teaching him shikai and bankai.

This indicates that Ichigo was using Zangetsu power the whole time.



When Ichigo was learning his bankai through Yoruichi, the fake is the one that manifested to fight Ichigo not the hollow/real spirit. (And I use real spirit very loosely since we don't even know what his role is now or if that even is his real zanpakuto spirit.) In this training to get his bankai, shouldn't his "real" zanpakuto spirit manifested and not this fake?



Ichigo's hollow side is undoubtedly from the hollow that Aizen created that bit Misaki then exploded and fused with her.



So where is Ichigo's real spirit?

Ichigo has never BEEN a shinigami and never will be.



Aizen called him a "transcendental" - someone who transcends the boundaries set by existing types of powers.



Ichigo is a hybrid, basically, hybrid of plus and minus, and all the variations in between those two types of souls. His power is something else entirely while displaying the facets of all those that make it as a whole.

Hollow mask was a DOWNGRADE, due to his power being split.



AFter FGT training its pretty much constantly on, as part of his whole power.

I would have believed it since I already have put out a theory about a year ago that there's no difference between Shirosaki and Zangetsu and IChigo.

Shirosaki called himself Zangetsu multiple times, not just during that fight.



And yes OLD MAN is part of ICHIGO'S power. Manga made it clear that Old Man, Shirosaki, Tensa, etc are part of a whole that is Ichigo. They are all Ichigo. And yeah no shit that he had no name, since Ichigo was using the name he had to refer to someone else. Also guess who ALSO has no name till he gets one? ASAUCHI.

Oh sure. That is if we ignore every. single. case. of. foreshadowing that there was(like the fact that Ishida was able to use Ichigo's power to empower his bow in 49, despite that it should have  been opposite and was surprised by nature of Ichigo's power. )

nah it was an expected plot twist especially when me and other people are discussing that Ichigo has the quincy blood too and every quincy like Ichigo has the very same blood of Juha Bach so no wonder Zangetsu looks like Juha Bach
