"Meh" would be too good for this chapter.
So, the strongest fighter and best healer isn't allowed to fight against really strong enemies. After the defeat, she teaches the second strongest fighter something. She gets out her bankai - which does nothing at all to the other person. I repeat that: nothing at all. Which is why we see the bankai for like 3 panels and that's it.
Then she dies. Which would be incredibly stupid because Soul Society would lose one of their best fighters and their best healer during a serious conflict.
But then again, we all know she doesn't really die. Probably.
This is just incredibly stupid.
But nice to see Renji.
To be completely fair, half of the stuff the SS has done throughout Bleach is pretty stupid and shortsighted. Killing off their best healer before an epic battle fits in line with that tradition.
