So it looks like Ichigo is a super-breed of all phenomenon in the Bleach world. He is the Kwisatz Haderach.

Hello there, fellow Dune fan!

BTW, I don't think JB is Ichigo's father. He didn't mean it literally.

holy fuck, Aizen knew about it from the start....it's all starting to make sense now, why Isshin stopped him and all >:3!

lol @ all the people that are still in denial about it also lol that you're completely missing the big picture.

from this chapter, Juha is Ichigo's father....the fact that Ichigo is part quincy as well proves it.

HOWEVER, his quincy part comes his mother because Juha himself was a shinigami before being a quincy (no quincy can live over a thousand years people, get it through your head already...it's common sense)

Look at these panels where Ichigo asks if Juha is the "enemy"

Take a look at lord toofsy's reaction....he obviously knew that Ichigo had his facts wrong

Also Juha was planning on using words alone to convince him cause after all, he didn't want to hurt his own son.

This is further confirmed by toofsy's face reaction when Juha stabbed Ichigo's neck...basically he couldn't believe Bach would do that to his own son.

Bach looked more like he was in pain when he stabbed his neck and he left him alive so even if his powers didn't awaken he would still survive the trip to the castle so it wasn't a fatal wound (yeah right, a stab to the throat isn't a fatal wound...oh bleach)

But the biggest hits are from the latest chapter

His last words, "my son...born in darkness"

It means that Ichigo grew up without knowing shit about his real lineage, so he grew up in a world of lies.

This also explains why Bach also went to Aizen since Aizen was prob there when Ichigo was born

I always wondered why doesn't Isshin go to SS and after reading this chapter I think that he's a traitor....not in the king's eyes but in the eyes of SS's higher-ups.

This is what I think happened.

Remember that 'pure blood' bs grand fisher was spouting about?

Well, I think that even tho shinigami and quincy are teachings, one can be born with quincy OR shinigami blood based on what teaching the soul mastered.

As the soul trains, its reiatsu adapts to the teaching in question so if the soul trains in the quincy arts, it'll have quincy reiatsu and if it trains in the shinigami arts, it'll have shinigami reiatsu.

That much we know but Bach mentioned something else.

So from what Bach was saying, a person can be born a quincy or a shinigami if the father or mother in question mastered the quincy or the shinigami arts since the reiatsu in the genetic material stores itself in the fetus at a DNA level resulting in that child being born with quincy 'blood' or shinigami 'blood' a.k.a 'pure' blood.

So based on that if Ichigo's mother was a quincy and the father would be a random human, he would of been born half quincy half human

If both parents were quincy, he would have 100% quincy blood (pure blood)

In this case Ichigo is born from a quincy and shinigami so he's a hybrid BUT he's still considered 'pure' because his parents were 'pure' bloods and not souls that recently mastered the quincy/shinigami arts.

It might be a loooooooooooooooong shot but here's my pov.

Bach was the former soul king and was a shinigami by birth. Lord toofsy (Haschwald) was his right hand so that also makes him a shinigami.

Along the way Bach fell in love with Ichigo's mother (who was a quincy) and Bach got her pregnant

Isshin was part of Bach's royal guard (either his personal guard or a member of squad zero)

Somewhere along the lines, news that Bach got Masaki spread and the higher-ups (central 46 most prob) saw their child as an 'abomination' (because they feared the power it would harbor) so they ordered it to be terminated.

This didn't sit well with Bach who protested and shit and it got out of hand and before you knew it war broke down on the quincy and shinigami

At some point the higher-ups decided to 'relieve' Bach of his duties as 'king' and ordered squad zero to assassinate him.

Squad zero stormed the castle at which point Bach had to make a decision. He prob ordered Isshin to look after Masaki and make sure no harm comes to her while he and a few other loyal member made their way somewhere else.

That's why Aizen kept saying that the throne is vacant because there currently is no king in SS

The IT that Aizen and Urahara were talking about is prob an abomination or something along those lines that act's like a stabilizing agent so that the boundaries don't collapse on each-other.

I really don't know how Aizen fits into the picture...he prob learned of his birth or was there when it happened...i dunno.

Bach most likely learned the quincy teachings after falling in long with Masaki.

Wait, what? Former soul king? The problem is, JB was in war with the shinigamis a thousand year ago. I don't think he would be a king after that.

Except for the fact that Rukia was being detained in Soul Society when Ichigo's mask, or any hint of an inner hollow first appeared at Urahara's place during training.

Only me that think Bleach kinda sux after Aizen got defeated since he went from superbaddass to nothing. And now he starts all over again....

His hollow side only came about from having his soul chain broken/losing his powers and in him regaining them he nearly became a hollow and created a hollow part insdie him

No this is wrong, and I don't understand where all the speculation has stemmed from. I am seeing many people theorizing about Ichigo's "makeup", and how he gained his Hollow powers.

Ichigo gained his Hollow side from Lord Aizen and the Hogyoku. It has been stated many times that the power of the Hogyoku is to manifest the desire's of the people's hearts around it. Ichigo acquired his Hollow side stemming from the fact that the Hogyoku can break down the barrier separating Soul Reapers and Hollows. This is really the only way someone can gain the power necessary to transcend both SR and Hollow, and consequentially for Ichigo, the way he could best protect the people he loved.

Needing to become stronger, Ichigo subconsciously yearned for a way to do so, and sensing his hearts desire for more power, the Hogyoku (which was inside Rukia who was staying with Ichigo at the time) then destroyed the barrier in Ichigo, thus allowing him to acquire his Hollow powers which he would never have been able to attain otherwise.

And one more thing, I'm predicting right now that Haschwald(Blondie) is Ichigo's long lost brother. They look remarkably similar to me, in fact their faces are almost identical, and the way he has been interacting with Ichigo seems kinda strange. Also the fact that he could sense Ichigo's reiastu even before Bach makes me think they are connected.

Thanks, I forgot this and just remembered Ichigo nearly turning into a hollow from regaining his powers. My point however is that his hollow/fullbring side is not his natural self/root. It is a cause like you say the desire to get more powerful to protect his friends.

Blondie does look a lot like Ichigo, but we have seen this before with Stark and captain pink blossom (sorry forgot his name).

It will be strange if he was his brother, would that mean they have the same father but he is a full Quincy? this leads on to Ichigo. if he wasn’t stabbed by Rukia, could he become a Quincy? interesting. I do think however this guy will probably become his friend.

So... Ichigo's a quincy. Wow. Didn't see that one coming. I was expecting Ishida to be a big part of this arc, seeing as he WAS the only quincy out of all the main characters, but I guess I was wrong.

Ichigo certainly is one for the history books. How can one person be a Shinigami, a quincy and a visored (well I guess WAS a visored)?

Curious to see how this is going to play out...

I don't think Ichigo is Bach's son but then it would fit Bach family line of super powerful monsters. I think that "you are my son born in darkness" is related to him being born from a Quincy and Shinigami relationship. Quincy are the light when Shinigami are the darkness. "You are my son" translates to Ichigo being born  from Quincy mother (maybe Masaki was related to Bach), "Born in the darkness" translates to being born as a Shinigami.

Ichigo was Shinigami with hollow split personality, then once he lost his powers he awakened Fullbring (probably due to dormant Quincy powers he inherited from his awesome mother) and now he slowly awakens to his Quincy heritage. Even if Quincy are just humans that trained and learned Quincy art - some of their ability's must be inheritable. Blut Vene is one thing that should be inheritable as it is blood packed with reishi / reiatsu whatever. Masaki could have lost her powers because of her getting pregnant. It could have taken about 9 month for Masaki to loose all her powers to Ichigo - Blood being the transmitter. This could also be reason why Ichigo sisters aren't that strong. They inherited only from father side (Isshin).

I can imagine Masaki giving birth to Ichigo. In all that pain and confusion She starts to absorb reishi, maybe her blut goes wild and Ryuken and Isshin notice baby Ichigo reiatsu growing to insane levels. After the birth Masaki has little to no strength left in her and faints. Once She wakes up she is ordinary human with no control over reishi and on reiatsu perception holding little Ichigo.

Maybe back then Isshin still had his powers but when Masaki lost hers he used Urahara humanizing gigai to seal his powers (maybe he had it from the start and it took full effect after making Ichigo). Years go by and girls are getting born with less and less shinigami power within them as gigai sealed it all.

Back in the early chapters when Uryuu and Ichigo had to fight Menos Grande. Uryuu touched Ichigo and his bow became super large. Maybe it wasn't due to Ichigo insane reiatsu but his dormant reishi absorption  power. Ichigo had no control over it and it got channelled to Uryuu.

Not sure if I posted it in the last chapter thread (or forgot) but my idea was that Ichigo absorbed Kirge ability's from the jail and here we learn that Ichigo had Quincy powers within him from the start sealed deep inside.

Also if you remember Ichigo getting stabbed by reiatsu sword under his heart looked so much like Uryuu getting shot with an Quincy arrow.

Zangetsu is broken maybe now the hilt from "BAN" symbol will morph into Quincy cross?
