I wonder what's stopping Juha Bach from dragging Ichigo back though. Ichigo is absolutely out of his league here [again], but nooooo, you want to let him recover and train before facing him again. *face palm*

yes rukia did give him shinigami powers but he lost them when bykuya attacked him and severed his soul chain, remember he had to go training with kisuke to awaken his own powers right before infiltrating the soul society.



im neutral about this now, i just read about Rukia giving her powers to Ichigo on Wikia and it stated there that Ichigo rather than acquiring it he absorbs the shinigami powers instead, im not gonna be surprise if he mutated by mixing his own quincy powers to the shinigami+hollow+fullbring powers, so from this chapter alone Ichigo's original power are that of a quincy as explained by Juha Bach, it makes sense with the absorbing of shinigami powers from Rukia, but like i said im neutral about this now



just read chapter 56, ichigo loses the powers he gains from rukia, after that point the power rukia gave him never played a role in him being a shinigami. For the rest of the manga when  he transformed into a shinigami it was out of his own inherent ability not rukia's

This chapter just made me crack up so much! My theory of Ichigo's mum being a Quincy is true then. I don't think Juha Bach is Ichigo's dad, because that doesn't explain the whole Karin and Yuzu situation, he's probably Ichigo's grandfather, if he is Ichi's dad then FML. I've always wondered why Isshin was "friendly" with Uryuu's pops, maybe Masaki was Uryuu's aunt or his Dad's cousin, something like that anyway. Hopefully 515 will explain everything PROPERLY, and not leave us to make up our own theories.

Fullbring is ability not race,quincy is technic,hollows power is  part of soul.



I kind of agree. Though Ichigo had no training in quincy arts but "awakened" a power within. So wouldn't that mean it's hereditary? If so, quency is a race. But it seems to be two different types of quencies: the "pure" ones  and the humans that learned quency arts.

So this makes Ichigo what, part human, part shinigami, part hollow/arrancar, part fullbringer, part Quincy? It's like Tite Kubo couldn't figure out what gimmick to go with
