On a side note I have a question: Can anyone who knows japanese and saw the raw version analayze his name? I don't know what's up exactly with kanji and japanese writing but if Juha Bach means sth I would like to know.I quoted an explanation from Bleachasylum in the 2nd or 3rd page, but I'll explain more thoroughly. His name was written in Katakana, this way: ユーハバッハ , Katakana in Japanese is used for foreign words, the romaji of that name is Yuuha Batsuha, but Batsuha in Katakana translates and refers to Bach (Johann Sebastian Bach), the German composer, so Buckbeard's name should look like this: Yuha/Yuuha Bach. As for the meaning, Bach in German can mean a water-stream or a short/small river. I've also seen that a part of his name, either Yuha or Bach, means fire in Chinese < I'm not sure of this part, it needs confirmation, so if anyone here knows Chinese..
Here are some pages to check for yourself: RAWS, JS Bach in Japanese on Wikipedia.
Thanks a lot but i didn't mean the connection to Bach the composer. I meant sth like how Ichigo's name has been explained to have the character that means "No1"
(ichi=1, go=5 as far as I know at least, which is funny when you think that the manga started when Ichigo was 15 and how he has a sticker on his door with the number 15) and at the same time his name has sth to do with Strawberries (dunno what exactly). I was refering to these kind of connections, like if the way Kubo wrote his name means sth like "traitor", "rebel", "death","king" or anything of the like.
