Bleach Chapter 501 Discussion

Oh. It's Karasu.



Even though Byakuya is one of my favorite characters, his "death"  didn't fill me with any tension...most likely because no one dies in Bleach. I'll wait for the receipts, but who knows, Kubo may actually kill off people that readers care about!



And maybe it's because Ichigo only has two expressions (stoic and angry/frustrated), but his supposed desperation read flat to me. But that's more a gripe about character design, not story.



Not a terrible chapter, but I might go back to reading in 4 chapter chunks for better flow.

I am loving EVERYTHING about this. The villains, the intensity, the cliffhangers, the BRUTALITY and the unknown.

Bleach is easily the best of the three right now.

Come to think of it. wasn't you the one who said Fullbringer arc is pure quality and we will learn about lots of secrets like Isshin past, soul king, full bringers relation with soul society and different answers which will lead to final arc, but in the end nothing happened and Kubo prove it, that arc was nothing but to give powers back to Ichigo.  oh well. let's hope Kubo will maintain what he did so far in this arc.



fullbring arc IS the quality and I love the amount of character development it gave to Ichigo and an insight it gave to SS and it did lead to the final arc that has all of that.

Is this a typical "kill everyone" final arc?

The one where he keeps it inside the blade, the barrage of several minor ones and the one fired at shoulder height (supposedly for the purpose for beheading) all have a name.

The quick one he used against Yammy for example is called Issen Getsuga."

Because this is the last arc; where everyone is getting their ass kicked and having their shit (bankai) stolen from them? Hence, based on the way the plot is going right now, they might as well end up killing Ichigo in the end of the series.Seriously you don't think everyone will be killed now, do you? I mean ok 7000 Shinigami died but only 2 of them were vice-captains, one might live if they revived him somehow, besides I don't think Byakuya or any of the captains would die that easily. I think something is gonna happen and the quincy are gonna get their asses kicked (when was it any different?), or there's some kind of a plot twist coming.
