Agreed. Despite the obscene amount of color pages ( which in and of itself just proves that big flashy colors still can't make Bleach any more interesting ) and actual depth in the scenery ( for once, sad that it takes 3 weeks for Kubo to be able to pull that off ) this was lackluster in a sense. Before anyone jumps in to say "but it's only the first chapter in the new arc!" I understand that...but unfortunately it did little to pique my interest.

I was finally able to complete the anime adapted part. Now it's time to read the rest of the story. I'm super hyped to read the final arc!!

What the heck... Three weeks of waiting and we get two boring shinigami (one is useless Hanatarou-clone, and another one is some flat chested tsun-tsun?!) just to see Ichigo in action again?  Geez, I though it'll be better after some epic Mayuri in full makeup XD

Same here, I thought that they would settle things with him, and now what. New enemy? Don't know if want :| Still, Ichigo looks having fun as hero no.1, good to see XD

This is the first chapter that I've read from Bleach manga.  I watched all 366 episodes of the anime and thought I'd finish it out by reading the final arc.



That being said, this was pretty...boring.  I'm hoping that this develops into something worthwhile.

Interesting chapter. In addition to trite shonen cliches, now Kubo uses trite harem comedy cliches.

Gee another flat chested tomboy and a awkward clumsy guy with a girly face. Waaaay to stay original Kubo. I can't wait to see how these characters develop the last story arc of Bleach >.>
