Byakuya's lines in this very chapter emphasizes the fact that the shinigami are good guys. Whether they're being used or not... is another matter.

Also, didn't we see Mayuri's real face in the end of the SS arc... that ugly mug looks nothing like Urahara's.

Yes, separate people are always nice. Does not mean that their intentions, goals or organisation means nothing bad for the main character or from main character's POV. This whole manga, since SS arc is built around that concept.

Really? id say he looks quite a lot like Urahara, with a bit different hairstyle, maybe a bit younger.

The two options that I think is "the enemy Ichigo should really be fighting".

1st. Soul Society's system

2nd. Soul KingIn a perfect world... yeah, that would be a nice transfer into the final arc. But since I have this feeling that this franchise isn't close to over yet (hasn't been milked enough yet) I wouldn't be surprised if they threw something else at us.

Like

3rd. Urahara and Isshin (that would piss me off)

4th. Mayuri or one of the other capatains (that would piss me off more)

5th. Some new character/race that hasn't been revealed yet (AAARGH)

6th. Humans or hollows or the hollow within himself... (facepalm, trolled again)

Urahara is connected to SK and Isshin has connection to both Aizen, Ichigo and Ginjou.

Mayuri apparantly willl be VERY important in the next arc, as well as what he found in HM(remember that we still don't know what he found?). Going by Mayuri's face in anime and how he like sot mtilate himself, I am betting that either mayuri is Urahara's clone or Urahara is mayuri's clone, but better than Mayuri in every sense. The whole maggot's nest stuff felt like something out of the "man in the iron mask".

No reason to fight Ginjou?  Who wouldn't beat him down after all the crap he put them through?  I'm disappointed that Ichigo didn't answer.

That's because Bleach isn't a white vs black manga.

Ginjou used Ichigo and his friend to achieve ulterior motive but he didn't planned to kill any of them and he also didn't do that out of hatred.

Byakuya was ready to sacrifice Rukia for the sake of his honor. Even though Ichigo and Byakuya crossed sword Ichigo didn't fought out of hatred, he fought to protect and he fought to make his point of view clear to Byakuya.

Grimmjaw came to Karakura town, almost ended up killing Rukia and puting Ichigo's and his friend's life in danger and he was seeking fight for pleasure alone. Ichigo did not fight him out of hatred, he fought him out of conviction.

Aizen manipulated SS, did countless of horrible experiment, killed numerous shinigami and put the life of everyone Ichigo holded dear in danger yet not once did Ichigo fought with hatred in mind, he fought to protect.

It's been clear since long ago that Ichigo does not hold his sword to harm people, he hold his sword to protect people.

The only person he truly fought to kill was Tsukishima and that was because Ichigo had a breakdown at this moment. Now that he regained a semblance of composure Tsukishima's death would not give him any satisfaction.

When Ichigo fight his opponent he understand them through their blades and he transmit his will and feeling through his blade as well still you shouldn't assume that Ichigo fight to 'beat up' his opponent.

Ho ho ho, Soul society king.

Saw it coming that Ginjou had other plans other than regaining power.

Urahara and isshin have a track record of showing up at only specific moments, or not showing at all. This is typical of them, and now there is more reason to believe that they understand ginjou's plan and want it to unfold so something can actually be done about soul society's problems.

Ichigo's main priority is his friends. Since there is harm towards his friends is becoming undone, he feels that there is no more reason to fight.

Reminds me of DBZ's I'll-let-him-escape-'cause-I'm-such-a-good-guy Goku, but at least Goku always gave them a good beatdown beforehand.  I'm still disappointed that Ichigo is justifying Ginjou's arrogant presumptions with his silence, letting him add insult to injury.
