These two are the worst teachers, they keep screaming into my god damn. If I was Ichigo, I would throw that ball at them too.

Wow, all the captains are here! I wonder if all the captains are here or if someone didn't show up?

Sweet... So then Ichi still have problems to deal with the Energy Barrier he needs to cross the Barrier of the Inner City.... Damn... Having that much power really hinders the poor Ichi sometimes.... Anyway he's trying really hard to deal with that problem with little development.... So he has a talk with Ganju... And he kinda reveals why he's there to Save the good ol' Rukia... Imo, Ichi has a great reason to save Rukia... Heck he has to save her... so after all he has to accomplish every feat that shows on hi way to Rukia

And the Division Captains meet up... That really looks interesting man... There's Kenpachi Zaraki... and Gin Ichimaru shows up suddenly... and there's the good ol' Sosuke Aizen oh and Byakuya Kuchiki.... But what the hell is up with the pair of chibis and the frail looking girl... and the Wood head over there... and the guy with the weird face... Who are all of them... I wanna know more stuff about them naaaao! XD

Orihime's sad faceless close up panel after Ichigo rejects her insistence on helping in-between her smiling panels is still my favourite character acting in the manga paneling. The brief sadness being replaced by the fake cheeriness to follow Ichigo's instruction and stay out of his was is always pretty effective.

I particularly liked this instance because Orihime was shaded in darker tones in the one panel with the only source of white colouring being below her. Makes an even stronger contrast with the panels before and after it.

I do distinctly remember this being a part of the arc where my interest was losing fast in the anime. I'm honestly not sure I saw much more of the anime after this firework part ended, at least not I think it was the point I stopped watching regularly.

Regardless, re-visiting it now . . . meh. I think a lot of my distaste might have came from the fact that I find Ganju kind of annoying, but I did like his discussion with Ichigo here and his way of helping him while both of them still maintained their vitriolic relationship with each other.
