You seem to forgot the most important thing, people... NEGI'S FATHER. Seriously! So we are to believe Negi died without finding him? I know it's a minor subplot that's been going on only since THE BEGINNING OF THE SERIES and was mentioned in just all of the chapters but still - wouldn't it be nice to see it resolved?

But all in all - this series is very very bad. Leaving aside the protagonist's age - totally not matching either the "saving the world" part or the "girls drooling all over him" part - there are too many things unexplained, like the whole Negi's plan to save the magic world (meaning: all the latest chapters) and the changes from superdrama to silly ecchi harem comedy (again, the guy's too little, it's literally disgusting) are just to sudden and unreasonable.

My guess - Asuna will meet with Negi somehow after all. The author shouldn't have much trouble with him being dead, I mean stupid readers have already bought much more of the stupid, nonsensical "magic needs no explanation" sh*t, right? Also we'll learn Negi met with his father at last - though since there are three chapters left, don't hope for a good explanation where he was and what he was doing all this time.

Have I mentioned this series is stupid and makes no sense?

I would take the time to write an elaborate answer about all of these point but it seem like we didn't read the same negima.

Seriously you are the prime exemple of someone that barely read and just skim through the image.

Well Rakan called it back on ch249 after all

Wow totally didn't remember that at all, makes it more depressing tho, it seems like the chance of his death being faked is getting slim.

he was a world figure and immortal. he HAD to die or people would have questioned his unchanging looks. or why he lived for so long.

I wonder if it could also be an indication that Negi was a false protagonist?

negi fucked all of his students, just to have the chance of born Chao,  but later is discovered and send to the jail, where he dies or fake his die.

or maybe he never dies, and never gets older (remember the pils to look older), but who is the grand-grand-grand-mother of chao?

i really dont wanna a travel to the past Asuna.

Admit it.

Shut up and admit it.

You cried with this chapter. You cried like little bitches.

I didn't cry, but I felt something deep inside curl up into a ball.

Also, only 3 more chapters?

I guess even Akamatsu-san can't fight the ravages of low sales =/

I don't think he died for real (shocks). Has probably something to do with his dad's case.

In the off-chance he really died for real, that would suck. ALOT.

And Chao being there isn't so surprising either. She just probably jumped into the future and got there O_o

All in all, it was a solemn chapter. Meh.

also, in before reverse time traveling Asuna.

Sounds like a good call, considering the appearance of Chao, but if that happened, then wouldn't she have met the class rep and cause her to never need to write that letter in 2090?

Well, that's assuming she doesn't go and break time.

Not really. The current timeline would simply get re-written. Please don't bring "Time Paradoxes" shit here. It doesn't happen in this canon. Just take the current timeline. It's different from Chao's original version. And the universe didn't break.

PS: I doubt that's what's gonna happen in these last three chapters anyway though.

does this mean that it will be a forced ending of Negima( for example the series isn't selling well and the mangaka needs to end it?)

If i remember correctly Negima sells were on a ok level

That's an interesting question you have brought up.

Yes, Negima has pretty good sales. It's not as good as the "big 3" but it's still better than most other manga.

I don't believe Negima is being "Cancelled". So the only option I can come up with is that Ken doesn't know what to do with Negima.

IMHO, it's probably better just to end it, rather than drag it out like the "big 3".

I'm just putting my two cents in, but I don't think there will be a spinoff. I'm sure after nine years he is probably ready to move on, and I also figure that he has planned this ending out at the very least a good year ahead of time (I'm doubtful he would have named the movie "Negima Anime Final" if he planned on another one or more arcs). All things must end, and in reality there would have been plenty of complaining about it being too soon whether it was now or two years from now.
