Negi's totes exaggerating. First year's rough and then it's basically just popping in every six months to monitor the results for the next century or so.



Chachamaru just seemed so excited he had to make a big deal out of it. Mostly it's a pretty standard construction project coupled with a lot of PR.

My guess, after reading the previous two chapters, Negi is planning on building a Space Elevator from the surface of the magical world up to maybe the high exosphere, allowing the riders to eventually board some sort of giant spaceship that would serve as a colony sustaining the inhabitants of the magical world. MSN is turning into sci-fi!



A little sci-fi side to it just like Nanoha had would be interesting imo.

We get to know Negi's plan a bit at a time while going alone with the awesomeness that is Akamatsu doing comedy. I love how Chachamaru can now... ehh... "service" some mana herself.
