Technically, Rakan never died -- he was more "pulled out" of the Magical World; now that they're merging, I guess he's allowed to live again.

I now forsee either the most epic Curb-Stomp Battle in the history of shonen -- or some utter BS (which I'll enjoy anyway).

Yes!  Headmaster is here! I've been wanting to see what he can do since the Mahora festival arc, and that was YEARS ago now!



Damnit, a man with earrings that big has got to be totally badass!



Oh, and Evangeline is wonderful, powerful, cute and not afraid to show her panties if it means kicking someone really hard in the face!

Rakan can say he came back because of sheer fighting spirit and I'd instantly believe him without a shade of doubt XD

Still, not even him and Evangeline could save the chapterthis time: Not only is it totally random, but it's also very short and nothing really happened aside of a "WTF!?" variety of character introduction, making it feel even shorter; and then Akamatsu goes on a break, probably to figure out what the heck is going on in his manga, or deal with executive meddling.

If the adults win, that means that the manga is gonna continue for a while, because it means that Negi will have more room to grow, and that we will see his plan implemented in like...200 chapters.

If the adults lose, and Negi has to win somehow, that means that the manga is ending, because the power scale has then lost all logical meaning.

Still, I admit. Pretty fucking awesome to see Eva and Jack team up. Mah two favorite characters.

For some reason, I couldn't exactly follow some scenes from one to the next. Especially the one with Imma's magic. Everything seems a bit rushed right now, though I'm not going to complain because Jack. Is. Back. That's all that matters in this chapter XD

All I could think of was "Avengers, assemble!"



Sometimes I forget how many characters this series has. Hey, anything that gives Eva, Jack and Albireo more screentime is okay with me.

Not really, the adult could just deal with everyone except the mage of the beggining which they would just wear down a little and then Negi and Fate team up to defeating him.

Also even if Negi would just go 'screw the powerlevel' and beat everyone it doesn't mean that the manga is going to end.

Either his power will decrease, either will stronger ennemy appear.

We still does not know what his plan is about and knowing Negi it might even put his power at stake.



Negi and Fate should get healed by Konoka but I feel like they'll go 'screw this' and will just continue to fight on willpower alone.
