well damn. the whole time i was reading it just felt like things were proceeding far too smoothly. and then shit hit the fan.

There was a time when Negima was my favorite manga of all time!!!



That was LOOOONNNGGG ago, back when this manga was fun and stories didn't drag and make everything so complicated and nonsensical that even hardcore fans are having trouble keeping up with it.



Honestly, at this point I really wish they would end this arc....



Your only saying that because it's as far as the story as gotten, for people who were reading when negima was still on the festival/tournament arc a shit load of weeaboes thought Akamatsu was making a wannabe dragonball manga... Plus which part is complicated? I thought it was pretty straight forward thus far, unless I missed something.

I caught uo at around 260 and have been current since then, so of course being able to cruise through everything in a weekend i really compare. I would have to agree though that they had too much going on at the same time. I mean, i forgot about those two other battles completely! When the demons and swordwomen appeared i had a 'oh yeah' moment. The only times i want those moments are plot twists.



Personally for me ever since Asuna had been forgotten about for over two years (100 chapters) i sort of wanted to kick somebody. It took 70 for them to realize it was a fake. That's basically the life of a average running manga. I mean she is the princess and female lead; or at least until she disappeared.

Correction, Akamatsu started falling after Rakan vs Negi.
