Honestly that doesn't change my mind about how excessively and silly the dialogue can be at times.  And it doesn't just apply to Negi.  It applies to practically every character that's given an opportunity to speak in this manga to point where so many words have to be crunched togethor within a single dialogue bubble.  Note, this is not a harsh criticism, but I am surpised that after 300 chapters, no one else bothered to say it as if they're oblivious to it or something.

Hold on, hold on, hold on!  First of all, I never said anything about either of them being "tsundere" and quite frankly I prefer to refrain from using that term.  Second, I meant in terms of the fact they're both blonde, busty, share a fighting attitude and both tend to have clothing unintentionally shedded.

I am used to the crammed bubbles, and i actually like how it adds more content to each chapter without using up extra panels. I agree that when it becomes unreadable, such as a tiny panel with a tiny bubble and then even tinier people and unbubbled text, it can become a pain to read. However overall i like how it.



Wouldn't somebody who can ignite things by looking at them beat Negi instantly if he stopped for even a moment?

I think she needs to focus after looking. If she ignites everything she looks at then there would be a line of fire going around the room and even her team mates would be lit on fire if she even caught a glimpse of them.

I did like seeing them all help out, though I'm confused as to whether the fire-girl can still fight or not.



Also, I guess they CAN catch you if you're on fire.

shes not a kid any more, plus she has a bit of power now.



the fights were a bit hard to follow though, but in the end it was a pretty short chapter.

Great chapter. I think the battle was pretty good, especially when the other girls were forced out but still were able to help Negi. Nodoka with her tackle, Yunna with her guns, and Makie with her ribbon. It will be interesting to see the outcome of the fight but we all know Negi will win in the end. I notice that in most of the chapters, Akamatsu either leaves a cliffhanger or comedy scene at the end so that readers come back for more.

A magician who can cause an explosion just by looking  = somehow reminded me of Roy Mustang :D



good to see the girls helping out Negi. and that costume is kinda cute (Especially on Chachamaru) but i bet that it will come off for Takane :P

Don't you just hate it when all your untrained party members are forced into the final battle? In most cases, they only get one powerful attack in before being KO'd.



Also, that Shadow Armour really does become your shadow...if you know what I mean.

I think her artefact allow her to use any lengh she want, but yeah she still use this artefact ribbon as a normal ribbon xD.

It wasn't that hard to follow, but maybe it's because I read it to slow :P
