Badass Demon battle on the way, and Negi seems badass even when he sais he did lab experiments for his theory.

Simple : Because of her high position in the real world.



It actually mean that Negi will involve the real world, and even more precisely the non-magic person on the earth to save the lives of many.

In face of a world destruction I think that Negi understood that something as petty as keeping magic a secret would only be a burden.



They probably tough of moving everyone from the magical world to the real world but there was something, one single thing that was lacking in the whole plan and it was the control of information, which Ayaka have.

If you move a huge number of magical habitant to the real world, it would lead to chao, worst case it would lead to war where the normal human would be oblitared in face of magical power. What the news say influence A LOT the population, with control over it it would be possible to come to an understanding with the real world.



Now moving a mass of people this big is another handfull problem, that's why Kurtz only wanted to move the real people but if you combine the power of both party then I guess it's possible to kinda ''enlarge'' the teleporting circle if you knows what I mean especially since both party have tremendous amount of magical power, I would not be surprised if Magia erebea would play a role in this.



Well it's only my opinion but I think that it would somewhat make sense.



You forget that Negi's true strength lay in theoretical magic development, he even stated he already did a preliminary experiment..



Mundus Magicus is "half a step away from reality" so what he needs is to shift it in a way it become real, right the opposite of Cosmo Entelechia which in turn break it away from reality.



Such large scale high-level magic of course present a lot of problem in itself, but let's not forget Chao Lingshen left behind a lot of high-tech magic hybrid stuff.. I bet Negi can find a way to use to overcome the practical issue of is plan which bring us to the Yukiko's group who has the resources for mass producing the aforementioned stuff.
