Yep, more exactly she asked him about the secret of the world and because of her artefact she could know what Kurtz was thinking. Thing happened and she only had time to read it now but hadn't time to tell Negi what it is.



But isn't her artefact more or less instant. As in, one needs to be reading at the time of the thought's process? All instances of her usage have suggested this, having never once gone back to something she asked earlier for reference.



Or is that just Akamatsu making it up as he goes along, again? (eg. Mana shows up, little explanation, she's just there. How she got through the portals, we'll never know until they try to go back to the old world).

"holder of the world secret" seems like nodoka is going to play a bigger part in all this.
