Mahou Sensei Negima! Chapter 275 Discussion

  • #26
As expected, she can copy Asuna's voice, looks and memories; but not her artifact and physical strenght. Mana, Misora and the other girls finally make their appearance, and just in time to save Megalomesembria's guards from being terminated.

About the "Shadow" 's resistance to magic, either the guards are very weak or those things can't be defeated by magic from the new world. The last one would explain why Takane could beat them since she's not that strong (in fact, let's bet on  how much time will pass before she ends up naked again)

PD: Misora never fails to make me laught XD

god dammit someone plz realize thats not the real Asuna. The real Asuna wouldn't just get friggin owned like that if even Takane or Yue who are both far weaker could injure those monsters.

The magic used in this case make the person who is faking Asuna actually beleiving she is Asuna. It is a double edge magic, it can't be used to spy but it is also impossible for the impostor to make a mistake since they are actually acting like the real one.

And as far as magic goes there more possible theory such as "Asuna's cancel don't work on this" (Afterall a lot of magic actually didn't work on these guys) or "Asuna lost her power in a X way".

Someone just theorizing what is going on would be something ridiculous, they can say that something is getting weird with Asuna's ability but we're not in a detective novel so don't expect someone to just go ''omg, asuna's power didn't worked = she's a fake".

I was under the impression Asuna's demon-banishing was more due to her bloodline than her artifact.

It is not demon-banishing ability but magic cancel. Incantation being a being of magic, Asuna's ability cancel them like any magic.

And I don't think it is in her bloodline, I think Asuna alone is the only person in the world able of doing that and yeah it has nothing to do with her artifact since she was canceling magic even before she had a pactio with Negi (CF Asuna punching through Eva's barrier).

Weird how by taking off her wig Mana's skin tone darkens to her normal color again

It's magic, remember rakan eyeglasses some chapters ago. It's the same thing the wig make her seem different

She can naturally cancel out magic. Her artifact does the banishing. Just remember Negi using the clone version against Rakan in the tournament.

But since she is a fake then the artifact can't be used properly.

Well since Mana came in it should now be a fair fight :P

Although I'm kinda not feeling good with the series right now. I think its just me but

I feel that all the characters are just... EVERYWHERE. Some are on the ship, some with negi and the others

fighting demons. Its kinda confusing to tell where some of the characters are at. Hope that soon they all meet together. Another thing... Isnt there a ranking sheet or whatever online on all the characters... I wanna know who and who is an A-F class fighter...  Like how Rakan showed Negi what rank he's at.

Really? I'm liking this turn of event at the moment lol. Too much talking before and now comes the full scale action just like back in the Mahou festival arc. Only one thing I sorta don't like is how overpowering they are but that's to be expected if they're gonna oppose Fate's group.

Also, I think a character finally recognised that the Asuna with them isn't actually Asuna. "Who are you?"

No she just acted like she didn't know them because she didn't want to get dragged into the fight with them.

Considering she went all the way there...plus, it doesn't match her character.

why is it still not seen that she's not ASUKA??????

She's called Asuna to begin with.

After that like I said earlier giving what is going you can't doubt that she is Asuna, if it wouldn't has been shown to us, readers, you would not even have doubted that and would have rather beleive that in some way she lost her ability or that her ability didn't work here (and giving that a lot of magic were inefictive it only make it easier to doubt that it just didn't work there).

It's like these stupid people screaming at a TV when a character is getting attacked by behind saying things like ''He's being you, look out", because we are shown the character back don't mean that he himself can see what is going on being the scene.

I think Mana is a native of the magic world. But, that's just my crazy theory.

It is possible but it would go against the theory that only mage from the old world can affect these summon so one of them (if not both) is false.

I think the theory is that only things from the old world can damage them, right?

She shot the demon in the head with a Deagle. It doesn't get more old world than that.

Well possible but I think that magic item work with the mana of it's user, hence it would mean that Mana's mana can damage them, if she originate from the magical world it should not work.

Anyway we'll see in the few next chapter.
