GetBackers Chapter 200 Discussion

                        The 200th chapter and it certainly felt like one. There was some nice levity with Emishi's antics, like not pulling out the needles before saying hi to everyone or Amon's whole misunderstanding with Kazuki. I liked seeing the dynamic between Amon and the others, Ryuho's position makes sense and I like that note that Shido confuses him either more.



lol at Ginj forgetting about Akabane, but beyond that it seems like Shido is planning on killing Ginji to save Madoka. That's definitely not the method I was expecting, I like the way how Akabane subtly teased at that to Ginji, talking about how would Madoka feel if he died and stating Shido learned how precious life was. It's also telling in everyone's reaction to Ginji, everyone except Shido had excited exclamation points after their greeting, Shido just had ellipses. And now Ban straight up knows about that, it makes things a lot more compelling.
