hikaru doesn't have the pleasure to have "clean" day as tsubaki gone, he needs to overcome the fear.

                        Tsubaki-san isn't there anymore so at least now Hikaru won't be as nervous.

Hikaru's mom is surprised by his desire to become a pro Go player. She didn't think he was that serious about it, but it's good for Hikaru to have something to strive for in his life, even at his young age. Hikaru is beginning to make a comeback now that he's playing better since he's not all nervous as he use to be.
