Great little chapter for Sai to finally have a chance to play since this was a random pick me up game that Hikaru didn't have to worry about Sai winning in an overwhelming manner. Even though they were hyping up this guy finally taking the pro test, Sai beat him so bad he decided to rip up his application and dedicate a year of intense training before coming back to take the test. He probably felt rusty since he did say that it's been awhile since he last played. Also enjoyed that little moment where he asked how long Hikaru has been playing and he responds with 1000 years since that was actually a valid answer, but it came off as looking like Hikaru is just exaggerating in a way to equate his skill level.
