There goes my hero... At least Soichiro, unlike Raye Penber, didn't get to use the Death Note and wasn't doomed, without being able to go to heaven nor hell, which I'm glad. And he died without knowing the sad and bitter truth of Light.

the end were too fast , maybe to show that light don't care too much about his father but still...



and so the much selfless character in the manga died...

And thus dies the truly selfless, pure main character of this manga. When I watched the anime I felt like Light was actually really sad about his father's death, despite his selfish thoughts... but now, I am not sure. He cried, but I think that's only natural if you lose a person you spent your entire life with. But I don't think he's actually all that touched. Light is one selfish bastard. That said, he's still a great villain protagonist!

Heartbreaking even after watching it before ,😭

It was a good death for him. He died as a true detective and without knowing the bitter truth about his son...

I'm disappointed though that M is still alive.

                        I will miss Yagami Soichiro.  I wonder how Light will move forward after this loss.

At least he died happy . Ignorance is bliss .

RIP Mr. Yagami. You died with your honor intact.



I'm happy Shidou managed to get his notebook back. He was oddly cute.
