                        Those were some pretty hard flashbacks to swallow especially with the kaoru corpse..

GOD...everything that kenshin has been carrying for almost his entire life... something so shady was hidden behind that smile and that "oro?"..and almost all that we have also lived for the entire manga

... Maybe the best single stand alone character-orientated chapter for me ever.  I re-lived Kenshin's whole life with him again.  There's always been days for me when I do just sit back and think of his whole journey.  However, seeing him sitting there at the bottom of each page; the same expression, through all the pages... going through it all in his perspective... "Episode Kenshin", just so meaningful (it's always serious when you glimpse Shinta/Hiko Seijuro).  It actually feels like 20 years have passed.  I chose the most befitting OST for the whole chapter too.  Maybe I'll go re-watch the animated Tsuiokuhen OVAs again soon.



This is my second time reading it too.  It always was, and still is, my favourite Manga.  



Stand up Himura Kenshin, you know what you must do.  Oibore is such a deep Ossan too (especially since...).  



Well, since I'm already here... Aoshi's being so epic, he's definitely retaining his "my second favourite character"! I forgot how good his role in this arc was, and a bonus is that Misao will be present when he is too :).  Saitou is still awesome, and Sanobrosuke has now become the wanderer... Enishi and Kaoru development was well-portrayed as welll, his scars definitely run deep.  Yahiko's growth is very cherish-able too, he's won the heart of both Tsubame and Shinichi (cool cop) it seems.



(I'm so close to the ending again, I have a day off today too... hmm..  what to do, what to do)
