The pillar thing is so interesting, big same lmao

It's as if we finally get a glimpse of something far larger than just the usual akuma shenanigans. Hoping we'll get to see more of it as soon as possible~

A short but a fun chapter. Love the chemistry between Red(Allen) and Mana.

Also love the sunset scene. :)

Ok so let me get this straight on my mind:

Mana is the millennium earl. He was once a 17 year old, and now is the middle aged man we all know as the guy who raised Allen (the human, though he did raise the dog named Allen too). He doesn't know how that happens or at least so he says. While we know he IS the earl, he says that NEA, his twin brother and the entity attempting to take over Allen-the-human's body, is said earl. He could be either lying or could actually be confused about their story.

Do y'all thing the mangaka takes so longs because not even herself can untangle her plot, or is it all so confusing just because it takes years to advance a single day story-wise? Do any of you trust this is actually a well planned plot, or are you waiting for her to just try really hard to make it make sense?

I honestly wouldn't mind a bad plot/ending if we could at least END this years long wait. I was just starting college when I first read this manga and now I'm 0,3% away from my second degree.

Boy, I hope we can see timcanpy soon, even if it's in memory form.

I just caught up recently, it all makes sense.  I don't recall Mana ever claiming that Nea was the Earl.  Mana is upset that Nea tried to kill him, he just didnt know why Nea tried to do such a thing.  Anyway, the plot is pretty consistently told, I recommend a reread one of these days.  I'd rather it continue at its current high quality, rather than them rushing to an ending.  I can wait years, as can you.

I absolutely can, but I worry that she's forced to wrap up the story someday and if it's not planned up ahead, we could end up with a Bleach-like ending, that would suck so much.

Considering shes releasing chapters in a quarterly release magazine, I dont think she'll be forced to do anything.  If she were releasing infrequently in a weekly magazine I'd worry as well, but the schedule she releases is the same schedule as the magazine itself.

Oh thank god, I can wait in peace then. I was afraid the series could get cancelled.

if Mana thinks he is 17, is it because he forgot the last 20 years of his life when he was Noah and Nea was alive, right ? So, the year of his 17th birthday, he woke up as a Noah, he spent 20 years as the Millenium Earl, and then there was the death of Nea. Traumatized, the Noah fell asleep and now, Mana is unaware that time has passed and think his twin brother has just disappeared.

Or I am just totally confused.

Mana really has a fatherly aura. Hope Allen and him cross path someday again. Something is telling me, he could come back.

If people need a recap, I recommend this relaxing video that was  released today.

holy cow i didn't think i'd catch up to this. now to put it in my on hold list and get back after two years lmao

kidding aside, i think there's just a LOT that needs to be addressed at this point and thinking about it makes me real tired. i'm rather interested with the whole pillar vs noah issue more so than the backstory for allen/red and mana/nea though i'm sure it'll all come together after five years, probably.

He said Nea was the earl in this latest chapter but maybe my translation is wrong
