what if....the old Bookman died and Lavi now is the new Bookman? this just crossed my mind because "Bookman was said to appear in the Campbell mansion when Lucia told her master Jo that he woke up, but still is in a great deal of pain". maybe he was in pain because both Feedler and Chaozi got on him?

Ergh still no answers given about 'Bookman' and his whereabouts and Nea's motive. And now what Nea said about how he has no choice about Marian being human is just raising more questions about who Marian ACTUALLY is!! So Nea was forced to cooperate with Marian?! Is Marian another revived member of the Noah family so Nea has 'no choice'? And finally, who is talking to Allen?!

Well Hoshino said Cross got involved with Neah unwillingly.

So they are both using one another. it seems. Far as who or what Cross is, it's all up for debate. I wrote about Cross' oddness a few years ago, in wondering what his deal is. Clearly his age is weird, since he's been in the war since before General Klaud was even born, yet he doesn't look older than Tiedoll.

I think you're forgetting the mystery which is more in need of an explanation than any other!

That is: Can Allen's sword actually exorcise anything from anyone, and - as a corollary - if so, why didn't its ability work on Tyki Mikk?

Also, on a related note, what's going on with him and his apparent ailment?

Not really the most important mystery, just an unexplained event which have bugged me personally somewhat seeing as it seems to be of rather major significance yet isn't even touched upon later on. Although the attention paid later on to the scars left on Tyki could perhaps count as it being brought up, to an extent.

I have a theory about this, I think the sword didn't work well on Tyki because he still has his human side (his white part). And probably the same happened to Allen (He is Nea and Allen). But I think the sword could work well in other Noahs. But I have no idea if people talked about this theory yet

that was pretty short ):

the look on Nea's face, that must mean that Tim must be something really important... I wonder what

This more and more proves to me that "Allen" is in the same situation as "Earl" is - he is in denial that both sides are the same.

I think it is obvious that the truth Allen will learn is that the real Allen, who most likely had ties to Bookman, died in the mansion and Nea took on his memories or something. Most likely that was the situation which led to Mana going insane and bringing Nea close to death. Which Nea then, via his added memories of Allen, twisted into Allen's memory of Mana's death at the hands of Earl.

Its interesting how both Earl and Allen have the Dorian Gray motif going on for them, down to the mirror in Mana's flashback. Its two men denying their inner truths. Hell, Cross literally states that Allen learning the truth about Nea would destroy Allen.

Either way the obvious way this has to go is the merger of Nea and Allen, to complete the meaning of color  "gray". That's what Cross means saying that Allen learning the truth will lead to disappearance of "Allen".

Dang, this chapter was short.

Really curious to see Tyki's next move and Allen will likely regain his body back in no time to reach the mansion where all the secrets lie. Hope the next chapter will be longer.

That 's interesting. As far as we see, the known noah still have their human conciousness. Only skin was half devoured by his memory. And maybe Fidler is too.  I have a feeling that with time, noah learn to control the memory inside them as to use the full power of it without being devoured by the memory. ( see Wisely in chapter 219). The memory of Skin was too agressive and he didn't manage to control it.

Remember that Cross said to Tyki he was a shame to his clan for allowing this form to appear in the ark.

After watching the anime and rereding some chapters, I think the main Allen was the first bookman appreitance and probably a heart user too (and I think Johnny is also a heart user).

The Allen right now is a question, especialy that Apocryps want to free him from Allen....  so he wanted to free Allen from Red? Hmmm

Johnny a heart user? Really? xD  The theory about Allen being the previous bookman apprentice is quite credible and supported though.  And Apo wants to free him from Nea.

Discarab, you may actually be onto something. O_O I don't agree with the point about Allen being previous Bookman apprentice, the one the Noahs mentione Bookman had before Lavi - that's what you meant, right? I'm very sure that that Apprentice is dead.

But I agree with all other points. I'll post my thoughts and reasoning later on, today afternoon/evening, as I'm busy rn. :)

I thought he's the apprentice for a long time. Neah clearly knew Allen and  was surprised by his young appearance. Add to that Noah's hatred of humans and only way Neah would get close to one is them being a Bookman.

This chapter is amazing, but too short for a three month wait. Hoping the future chapters are more balance.

Back to the chapter, Allen is going to be back soon for now. Neah nad Link's conversation was funny and geting serious before Fiddler interfered. That short action sequences was simple, fast, epic and amazing. Fiddler is creepy but amazingly drawn. The Earl is free and Noah's seems to be retreating, most likely the Twins party as well. Man, seeing the Earl breaks down makes me sad. Poor guy, even though he's the main villain and evil of the series. This is one of the series where I actually get the feels from villain

With this chapter, it seems like this arc may nearing its end. Now waiting for Allen to get back his body, reunion with Johnny, Kanda's side, Noah's side with the captured Apo, Allen escaping the Order pursuit and set off to the mansion. Link most likely return to play ninja(hide again if Allen does not notice him upon his return).

This arc is amazing with some revelation and more questions but I think its actually taking too long, even without the hiatus. Also, any longer might be dragging the arc. Think its time for another arc. Probably around 2-3 chapters left for this arc. I'm curious how the next arc will play out.
