Now, I don't think it's confusing OR necessarily inconsistent. Neah apparently knows that Allen wouldn't remember him. I'm guessing memory loss of SOME sort is involved.
The only thing that IS weird is that Allen has been shown as a child... presumably only a realistic time before the present. Neah COULD be confused, or a lot more could have happened between his past and the present... But, yeah. I'm waiting for it all to be explained to make any solid opinions regarding consistency.
What I can say is that I love it right now, ridiculously so.
I don't get the complaints about the art... I think it looks great? It's very expressive and still has the D Gray Man soul. If Hoshino wants to expand and grow a little with the style, I think that's great. A great story told in not one great style, but two. Not to mention, look way back... Then look where it is now... The characters, in general, are way more realistic and attractive. I completely understand preferring one over the other, but let's relax with the hating, yes?

And who IS Allen, really? Apparently not exactly how we've always seen him...
Neah's adorable and likable, I think.
Lastly... Where's Lavi? Last time we saw him, it wasn't good.

After reading the translation from animeprodestiny, week or smth ago, I felt as if I was kicked. Well, I still do a bit.
The chapter was good, but there were longueurs, again.

About the comment; seriously, WTF is wrong with the mangaka? IT is already a monthly release, why is she taking everything so slowed down? If this keeps up, then we will never get to see an ending.
For example, what about LAVI, Katsuro? Speed up woman.

And does anyone know if the next chapter will come out on September? With chapter 214 and 215 actually coming out on time would the next chapter be bi-monthly? Or would Hishino do it again. I’m actually not going to get my hopes up.
The next chapter should come out as it usually does so long as Hoshino is in good health.
People, chapter 215 WAS on time this month. It was the TRANSLATORS who took so long.
I understand some people don't like reading or seeing spoilers, but I would suggest to you to at least skim for some before declaring if a chapter is late or not. RAWS/spoilers are usually out no later than the 5th. If you see no signs of spoilers/RAWS then you can start worrying about there not being a chapter.

What the hell is Hoshino doing with the art, Allen seriously does not look like Allen anymore?!
And I'm still pissed about the storytelling, it just gets more and more confusing, so was that Allen in Neah's flashback, telling him he would keep his memories? That was definitely Allen's sword there that Neah used, so he got all of his powers from Neah and Allen is apparently way older than we thought he was, just what is he?
Kanda's health doesn't seem too good, heck, I don't even know how he could still be alive.
Seriously guys, can you still follow the story, like do you know most of the stuff that happened, plot details, characters etc.? I caught up last summer and I know that I already got confused during that time and now I feel like I'm totally lost. Re-reading every chapter is gonna be a pain in the ass, I will do it anyway but that doesn't change the fact that it's still confusing.
