My theory is actually that Allen's memories were distorted—his ability or the 14th's?—so that he would have a different memory of his childhood—one wherein he grew up with Mother and Barba and Mana and Cross. The 14th doesn't know why Allen didn't age, so it couldn't be his conscious doing. I think...it could be a result of having the 14th's soul or whatever—since it seems like Noahs don't age at all.



The tricky part would be the memories of the people whom he "grew up with." It could be another distortion of memories too.



Rereading Chapter 214(?), there's a name mentioned that might be real Allen's name: Cyrus. It was a very brief mention, but I think it's relevant—as always.



Hmm...What if Allen made a wish on the Ark? We clearly forgot that bit of music playing that resurrected Kanda and the others (or brought them back from whatever abyss). Maybe Allen knew the score even before Nea's memories were placed in him. If they grew up together...If they knew each other. The thing is, only after seeing Timcanpi's recording of Allen did he say that stuff about Allen not aging, and since Timcanpi has been with Cross and Allen throughout many years, the recording probably triggered the 14th to remember who Allen was previously and why his (14th) memories are in him. Also, Tim's recording probably showed how Allen didn't age. So...hmm another thing that goes in my mind is that maybe Cross knew that Allen doesn't age. Mana...was there a mention that he's Nea's twin? He might be a player in whatever distortion of Allen's childhood memory there is.



Hmm the more I speculate, the weirder my theories become lol Anyway, The inconsistency might be attributed to Nea's amnesiac tendencies or something. =.=

So basically Allen met Mana when the dog died, and that time Nea. Then he grew up and got Nea's memories. Later Cross or he done something to himself and became younger, lost his memories, and being with Mana for some time. Later Mana died and Allen got to Cross's side. Now he's having different life goal what he had before the memory loss.

LOL this is a bit bad luck I think.



But now I'm interest in Allen's real past really:D









Barbara-chan explained better than what i understood but i'm still confused about Allen's past and can't wait to see the 'memories' 14th mentioned.



I like Allen a lot, i really do but the consept of a Noah with Inocescence - and a parasytic type at that - is so intriguing i want him to become 14th to see what will Nea do with an Inocescence ;P

For example, what about LAVI, Katsuro? Speed up woman.



Right now, she's focusing on Allen. We don't want her to do a crappy job on the current arc just so we can all see Lavi again. Many believe Lavi will get his own arc soon enough. You all just have to be patient.



And Hoshino also has some health problems at times, as well as having back or wrist problems. We don't need her pushing herself to the point where she has to take a long hiatus again. Be happy we get it monthly. It's better than nothing at all.
