I don't get it, why you people are so exciting about this blood and gore.

somebody wrote one day that this is too much. and I agree with people who think the same.

And I don't think they look particularly alike. In a manga it's normal for characters to resemble eqachother in looks just because it's drawn by the same person lol. If she is meant to look like Alma though, for all we know she could be Alma's mother, sister, whatever. That could also be sweet because maybe that'd mean they were friends threw her even before they both became second exorcists.



That's true,too xD it's just a theory 'cuz they really look alike, and Alma and Kanda are artificially created; that's why I said it and 'cuz Alma and "that women" looks really alike, really they look. (Well, for me)

Pardon me, Chimasternmay, but I'm not into yaoi when is about D.Gray-Man, 'cuz the story do not deserve to be into yaoi. It's just a theory. Thanks.

DGM has never been about a Victorian theme for me. It's about ominous ambiance with an acute sense of personal mortality, where characters with special abilities fight akuma. It's also about the corruption within even the organization that sees itself as "good" because they must secure humanity's survival by any means necessary, as well as the abuses the characters have to endure and the sacrifices they have to make for what they hope is the greater good.



So yah, very very happy with this chapter and all the recent chapters. I love Kanda, I love the darkness that surrounds him, and I love how thoroughly it is being explored now!

DGM is about how good can sometimes be evil and evil can sometimes be good...

i should rephrase: good has evil IN IT and evil has good IN IT!



This arc (overall story-wise) wasn't so much about Kanda but was MORE about showing the readers that the Order does some pretty bad stuff to try to win this war, just like both sides of a battlefield will! "All the gore" was to SCARE and EMBED INTO OUR MINDS into thinking that the Order is almost as evil as the Noah.



We have already seen how nice the Noah can be...



This arc ALSO gives Kanda and excuse (in my book) to act like a total ass and explains WHY he doesn't want to get too close to the other Exorcists... becuase he has had bad experiences with relationships before.

Okay seriously. The kid had just killed a roomful of people. BY STABBING THEM TO DEATH WITH SHARP OBJECTS COMING OUT OF HIS BODY AND SMASHING THEM (the people) INTO OBJECTS. OF COURSE there's going to be A LOT of blood. Jeez use your brains people -_-

Of course there would be blood/gore in that situation, we're just saying we didn't want it that level in the first place. Gore in manga usually does not bother me at all but it bothered me this chapter which is saying something.



You can like it all you want but I'm just pointing out that not everyone cares seeing piles of dead, bloody mangled bodies. :/
