and so most of the arc ends this chapter, hopefully. anyway we finally see what made Yuu want to kill him, and it was not really Want, but it was more of a Necessity at this point, to stop Alma from going wild, and losing more of his heart and basically free him, plus the factor that he still feels the need to live

any way till next chapter and hope the flashback end next cuz i truly do get it now. unless there is more shocking news to come.

This was a good chapter as we finally got to see how Kanda was forced to kill Alma T_T It was so sad.

I know a lot of people are annoyed at how long this arc is taking, but I think it plays a  pretty crucial part in convincing Allen to leave the Order. The arc wouldn't seem so long if it was released weekly!

Although DGM is so dark and bloody, it's definitely one of my fave manga of all time.

Damn, now I'm sad ; w ;

Poor Kanda. Poor Alma. Poor Edgar. >.< DGM is so sad T___T

For a moment, I thought Allen would magically appear and help Kanda :'D But of course, it's not possible because it's the past.

I wonder who Kanda's lover was and if she will have a special role or if she "just" is Kanda's former love.

And now we have to wait one month ;___; Talk about torture >.>

I usually hate sad arcs like this full of flashbacks... But I´m loving it on D. Gray-man *o*

Damn, I´m kinda sad now... I really wished Alma would still live! T-T

Okay, I'm probably the only one who thought that whole chapter included way too much gore.

This was not D.Gray-man. Since when did Hoshino try to make it all overdramatic by using so much slashing and blood scenes? Don't get me wrong, it was sad - especially the part with Edgar and Alma saying he had to kill Yuu - but still. What is this?

I hope we left that gore genre and are going back to the Victorian Theme soon.

I am VERY VERY happy with the amount of blood and gore in this chapter. I hope it continues!!

DGM has never been about a Victorian theme for me. It's about ominous ambiance with an acute sense of personal mortality, where characters with special abilities fight akuma. It's also about the corruption within even the organization that sees itself as "good" because they must secure humanity's survival by any means necessary, as well as the abuses the characters have to endure and the sacrifices they have to make for what they hope is the greater good.

So yah, very very happy with this chapter and all the recent chapters. I love Kanda, I love the darkness that surrounds him, and I love how thoroughly it is being explored now!
