D.Gray-man Chapter 185 Discussion

I've thought it before, but now it's settled.  Kanda = Young Byakuya.  Cold, ill-tempered bishie with long black hair who gets his hair ties stolen.



But really, that was a good chapter.  After Cross' disappearance and the Timothy arc, I was getting a little restless with D. Gray Man but the Crows have really brought it into stride again.  I'm hoping we'll get to see some more of Link's past too, and how people with his sort of abilities are trained.

Nice chapter, I'm fairly sure Crow is going to get controlled by the Earl somehow. Anyhoo, bring on Kanda history.

Awesom chapter. I'm glad cause it makes up for the crappy moments in naruto and bleach right now.



I wonder what happened 9 years ago. Maybe Kanda's parents were involved in that event.. anyway I could see those crows going berserk like after absorbing too many akuma or giving in to the millenium earl or something.

oh good point, I had totally forgotten about that rose. but didn't the rose already die? maybe i should reread some of this manga, it's been too long and I forgot lots.

Ehem, well, as many of you mentioned, the moment Allen's eye and innocence was activated to the Crow's arm, I kinda expected that he is half akuma or something like that.  Interesting.....



Kanda backstory?  Bring it on, mate!

So we're finally gonna reveal what's with that tattoo on Kanda's chest. About damn time.

I liked this chapter a WHOLE lot.



        i.        Bak-chan! I missed him and his silly hat. :D

        ii.        Those crow people are showing everywhere these days. But I've got to admit, I like their character designs. A lot. Especially their hats and how they hide their faces. It's more awesome than the traditional hooded subordinates or the masked elite guard.

        iii.        Kanda - wait is his hair down? *explodes*

        iv.        lolololol, Bookman stole his hair tie. Go Bookman! You're my new hero. xD

        v.        Allen, I forgot how sweet you are (He really reminds me of Rossamünd Bookchild). You really one of nicest protagonists ever.

        vi.        Kanda backstory? Eh? PLEASE CONTINUE.

        vii.        I SPY LAVI. AND KRORY. WHAAAAAT.

        viii.        I remember when I didn't like Link. Wow, things have really changed. He's turning into one of my favourites.

        ix.        Lavi and Krory have speaking parts this chapter!?!!!?

        x.        So that's Madarao is. Also, he's surprisingly handsome. Damn you and your bishies Hoshino-sensei!
