I like how all of these chapters that involve the kusa are them doing something serious right before they see the signal. Then they're like, "oh shit, not right now", but they still need to fulfill their duty, so improvising is what they have to do. Like how the kusa in this chapter was betraying his fellow men to tell the leader of the Han to gain a promotion, but as soon as he saw the signal, he changed his mind and killed the leader before escaping to go light the next signal. The mission always come first. Good chapter, but hopefully the next one will go back to Retsudō's situation.
