FMA is not as good as I remembered it to be nor as good as the Anime.

Isn't it also your memories for the 2nd point, unless you're comparing it to the first TV show (another scale, other themes) that has a little tempo / direction incident when it redirects itself? Because the 2009 show is the same thing as the manga but with time/tempo mismanagement, a brutal introduction scrapping too much (of course the initial travel could be made shorter, but there are limits when reducing the introctory phase of a story), and despite its eagerness on cutting things in the beginning, it retained the manga's final segment in all its problematic stretched length.

Okay, this suddenly made me happy.

Just a bunch of nothing, with some of my favorite characters, couldn't get much better.

Alas, Hiromu Arakawa had decided to put an extra to FMA after it ended on June 11. And of course, the anticipation was high demand, itself.

This one-shot was released on Sept 11 exactly, 4 months after FMA ended. The story is time focus back on Al, Ed, and Winry in Resembool. Read and find out. I just love it, it's the perfect 'slice of life'

What a good use of Al's head. It was nice of what Al decided to use his previous body for. I couldn't think of anything else besides that than putting it up for display in his room.

Nice little story though.

well that sucked. i guess its true when they say watching people struggle and despair is more interesting than watching them live happily ever after.

That was good, and it did feel weird watching Al and his armor next to each other.

Still I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere, and the ending scene was nice.
