Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 108 Discussion

awww,,,thats efinitely a great ending, though edcant no longer use alchemy,,,, FMA has been part of my life since i was just 12 and i know im going to miss it, definitely, wholeheartedly.

The way Homunculus was defeated was very fitting, but really short in a way.  Edward giving alchemy and defeating "Truth" was really interesting sacrifice, because that was one thing he had to remind him of his mother. The proposal from Ed to Winry was really cheesy, but most fitting for Ed, that and they had kids! Though I wonder if Al went to Xing to see May...



Overall a good series and I'm glad that I read it!

Manly tears were shed.....





Thank you Arakawa-sensei, for giving us an amazing story with incredible characters. This will go down as one of the greatest, most original shounen ever.



Thank You for making me believe that it is still possible to make great stories.



I will miss FMA very much, the end was great, the epilogue could've been better but for me I enjoyed the journey as much as I did the destination.





To all Mangaka: Get a pen and paper and write some notes down, THIS IS HOW MANGA SHOULD BE DONE!!!

so in the ned ed defeats father, gives up his ability to perform alchemy to get al back, their father hoenheim dies in front of the grave of his wive, marcoh gives a philosopher stone to give mustang his eyesight back, grumman takes over as furher, and everyone else lives happily ever after as ed and al split up to find out more about alchemy. the end. also ed and winry have the weirdest proposal ever, lol "85%"

^_^ Like the happy endings ... Even Hohenheim dying was somehow a "happy ending".



Anyways a very solid Shounen. Of course the characters weren't super deep but then again, that actually would have ruined the tone. The plot was also very well done. Over all a very solid series and definitely a good example of what a Mainstream Shounen should be. 8/10.

I honestly could not believe when I plus'ed the chapter the "set to completed" box came up.  It's like...the journey was really over you know.

I'm srsly crying here. My first favorite manga ended here. Pretty good ending I'd say. But so freaking sad !!

+ Loved Arakawa's art till the ending

- In the end, Ed was taller than Winry (rofl :-D)

? What happened to Riza x Roy ?

Anyway, I loved this till the end and I'm so gonna buy rest of the volumes when they're released in Finnish ! And now I go back to my bed to cry a bit more :c

I was on the edge of crying, it was a touching ending. And despite the fact of wanting it to continue, the ending was still satisfying and epic.
