I've been loving this arc/ending.  I hope when they animate it it's just as intense.  THere will be heck to pay if they mess with it and leave things out.

Something just occurred to me. The basic process of alchemy is [knowledge > destruction > reconstruction]. In the scene where we saw him use his recreation arm he never used his right to first destroy.

Does his left arm destroy and recreates straight away? What's the point of his right arm then? Did Arakawa finally screw up?

I interpreted it in this way: Scar's right arm destroys, no problem there. But I'm guessing maybe his left arm can "recreate" without having to first destroy (in fact, *without being able to destroy*), essentially meaning either A) it works more like manipulation rather than destruction THEN recreation, or B) it can create something from nothing, like a philosopher's stone.

The way I see it even if I'm wrong with what I said above, is that each arm can perform its own function WITHOUT the need to be a part of the alchemy process as a whole. Destruction just means destroying, and recreation just means recreating, but without having to first destroy, bypassing the need for materials, or just using whatever is around but "transforming it" without "breaking it down" before doing so.

The argument can be made such that the author didn't screw up at all. Easily. We'll see how she explains it herself eventually though.

That giant shruiken was jokes...never expected Scar to gain reconstruction but maybe he'll finally kill King Bradly next time

If this series ends, I will be very sad. This is like the best series ever. Not even Naruto can top this. Im rooting for Scar. Pride can only use his shadows in certain places. Father's layer isn't one of them.

Not as epic or shocking as the previous chapter but it touches on the question I had before about Roy's unfair punishment and how they forced him to do it. Oh well we'll find out later I suppose.

Man, I really have to admit, Scar was definitely pretty badass this chapter.  The power of reconstruction totally caught me off guard.  It looks like he finally has accepted his brother's research into himself, whether or better or worse.

I dunno. I was sorta expecting it since it was the only way for him to survive that last blow. I don't see Scar dying that quick that's why.

I'm guessing 'Father' can stop Western Alchemy being used now that he has his fifth sacrifice.

Awesome chapter :3 hmmm so Pride traded his power to force Mustang to open the gate =O?

And Panda girl doesn't seem to be having a very good time on her end, wondering what the Ishvalans are planning though and Scar + Alchemy = GG King Bradley
