Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 102 Discussion

There's no use for Roy to create his mini-skirt army now. It was very heroic of Alphonse to leave his body at the gate, but Truth sure is a bitch. Guess he knows what will happen. Besides, I guess that Al might actually drop dead immediately when he gets his body back.

-Bradley was badass. Again. (why bother mentioning it?)

-Roy can't see his dreams fulfilled

-AL rejects his body to help everyone

Great Chapter

"Who will be remembered as the one who took my life?"

(err, can Roy use alchemy without gloves now?)

I was wondering about that too?

I would imagine given everything that has happened already that he no longer needs equivalent exchange either.

Oh my God.  This chapter... just... oh my God!

First off, I thought it was kind of poetic that throughout the entire manga storyline, Ed and Al worry that Al's body might reject his soul after being apart from it for so long... however it was Al's soul that rejected his body in the end!  So sad, though, he was SO close!

And Mustang, one of my favorite characters!  I can imagine Hawkeye's reaction.  But seriously, we go from worrying that she's going to die to worrying that Roy's going to die!  Damn, Arakawa-san sure knows how to keep us on our toes, doesn't she?  Such an amazing manga-ka!

Dear Month,

Please go by quickly!

Thank you.

To be completely honest, I think it's too shallow. I'm expecting this to turn out somewhat deeper..

But I wouldn't know now would I? ^^; Good theory nevertheless : p

What else could father want?

Is there anything beyond the lust for power that he might want, is there something beyong wanting to become a god or truth himself.

Could he be an old spirit of a human who wants to retrieve a  dearly beloved person to himself and be the first to successfully  do human transmuation.

Or maybe retrieve somethng of himself that he lost to truth.

So many ways this manga could go.

Goddamn, Roy... I was expecting -something- to happen to him, but not expecting him to go -blind- after crossing the gate...  Hiromu Arakawa is a genius.

Al sees his nekkid, skinny body, and rejects it to better fight Father.  Al, you bighearted idiot.  So brave and yet, you going back gave Father exactly what he wanted...

you forgot to mention scar vs. wrath :) lol
