Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 14 Discussion

Don't really care about Maes Hughes or how much he loves his daughter. Aside from Al lashing out, this chapter was filler.

This chapter felt too long but it was pretty cute!!! I love Winry!

Hughes is such a cool dude xD I absolutely love every national alchemist to this point, each one of them is an unique and colorful character.

Great humor in this chapter with Armstrong injuring Ed further, Hughes entrance to the hospital and the gun scene at Elicia's birthday party. The focus here is IMO a good choice considering what's to come in the next few chapters.



Towards the end it gets serious again with Al's outburst. Next episode more Elric brothers and Winry!

OMG! Fuck off Winry! She really is a bitch and my least favourite character. Thinks she knows everything. Assuming that's why his height is his height. No, milk does not make you taller. That's just a myth. If Edward doesn't want to drink milk, don't force him. I can't believe people don't find her annoying. "Size of a pea"? What a rude little shit.

Starting this manga again, since I never really finished it, I figured why I lost interest the first time around. The story so far is okay, the characters are cute, but the comical moments are way to overwhelming. The thematics are very interesting and strong, but those comical interruptions every three panels just keep me from taking anything happens in this manga seriously. I’m okay when a manga has a joke here and there, but that is just too much for me.

I’m gonna keep reading tho, just wanted to share these feelings here.

Winry's awesome and her interactions with Ed are the best. Al finally snapped. Hughes is sooo awesome. Too bad the next chapter's gonna be depressing.

                        I liked this chapter and how it explored Winry's relationship with the brothers, plus anything with Hughes is always a plus.
