Fullmetal Alchemist Chapter 2 Discussion

i don't remember ed making the god statue alive and nearly pounding the founder with it. nice touch. also if this is how the backstory is told, then i'm kind of conflicted on that. i saw the first 10 or 11 episodes of the original anime and having a dedicated episode to that felt a lot more effective than the flashbacks of this. but it did really help with the themes of religion and raising the dead. can't wait to see whats next

The philosopher's stone...

The first time we get to see Lust and Glutonny...didn't really like Cornello at all, so i'm kinda glad he dies fast XD

Ed transformed a huge fist over Pater Cornello . . .

and a few pages later... he alive o_ô.. wtf??

And than Lust kills him :D

he could revive soul of his brother but couldnt revive soul of his mother? doesnt make sense.

Oh so Ed and Al wanted to revive their mother and they failed...



We got two new charachters and they look pretty weird xD! Thank God that father Cornello is dead lol! Can't wait to see the rest of the story and the rest of the past!

Ed is awesome... I love the crazy faces he makes when fighting xD

If the stone was a fake, how was he still able to magnify his alchemist powers?

Loving the manga so far

I still can't get over how cute the doodle and facial expressions are in the manga. Again it really adds to the enjoyment of the story for me and a bonus from the anime ^^ !

Where you even paying attention? Ed transmuted a giant statue and then smashed the ground with it's fist in FRONT of Cornello which scared the shit out of him. Lust then killed him much later.

Lust? Gluttony? Seven deadly sins? Really?

Cool... Wonder how they'll proceed with this :)
