I need to reread every new chapter at least once to even assure that I still know where we're at when the next one comes out. I hope he does not go on another huge hiatus during this arc (hha as if not) because I will definitely forget everything. (Or at least, about all those new abilities.)

its call poor writing, info dumping the viewers in every chapter just shows how limited Toagashi is in expressing what he wants his viewers to understand. imo if he could do a little more showing than telling his viewers would not atleast be bored to death, this series main purpose is for entertainment, not a big ass book for studying.
The hxh fans wont admit it, since they praise this overrated mangaka to know ends, but they know the series is extremely boring right now, each episode discussion averaging just 15 comments says it all, and then the person in the comments dont sound the least exciting.
Yeah, at the moment it's really not that good and I say that as someone who really cherishes this story.
I don't even know anymore if it's true or not but everytime those info dumps on the abilities come around I can't help but think "didn't he actually explain this just two chapters before in a similar info dump?". Is that just me? No? Show don't tell is definitely not being used in this arc and it's currently turning an initially interesting idea into heavy homework. It's always been a demanding series, that's one reason why I personally loved it so much, but this arc is becoming real tedious work here.
And yeah, as you said, it's kinda boring right now. The mind games are all losing their intensity chapter by chapter. I'll keep reading nonetheless, simply because the Chimera Ant arc was also very slow initially till it turned into something that I absolutely loved. Let's hope it gets better again.

Fugetsu can't call upon her Nen beast at will because it doesn't work like that.
Benjamin has complete control over this succession battle.
I like how Hanzo explains why he wasn't the one who shows his Nen ability, seems like something the readers should figure out by themselves
Idk why Togashi is just narrator dumping all the Nen beasts abilities, instead of just doing so just after they're used, takes away the surprise element, he doesn't do it with the Nen abilities, don't see why he's spilling his spaghetti with the beasts.

Togashi should just write a novel if he can't keep up with the schedule.
I know right. These chapters are mostly pretty awful. It saddens me how long it will probably take to get to the dark continent. I expect that to be much more interesting than this succession war stuff.
