Lol, it continue right from it left out without any recaps lol It sure is surprising also how well the art has imrpoved since Togashi early years. Seriously did he really draw this all by himself and moreover does he plan on continue doing so for at least 6 more weeks?

Well, how long until the next hiatus start...My personal guess is around 7-9 chapters or so...

But for now, I will just enjoy the most likely short time that the series is still on.

I am awed by the density of this arc in almost every aspect: So many subplots were introduced prior and Togashi just keeps on piling layer upon layer. If this first act is any indication, Dark Continent may even surpass the final YYH arc in both scope and potential. Let's just hope that this time he actually delivers.

I am kinda lost in here. Wasn!t the last chapters about Netero's son going to Dark Continent? What is this prince elimination voyage? :D (it's been a while since I read HxH)

Words can't describe how happy I am to see this back.  I can only hope that Togashi finally stays somewhat consistent.  If he wants to take a week break every now and then like Oda does then that's fine, but please no more super long hiatuses.

As for the chapter, the set up for all these events between different characters continues to be extremely interesting.  There's so many people to follow and I can't wait to see how Togashi plans to handle them all.  I'm glad Kurapika decided to take Oito up on her offer to protect her and the baby prince.

This chapter was exceptional. DC arc can be one of the greatest Shounen arcs of all time, imo. The subplots are super intriguing, and Togashi adding old faces and placing them in the mix of a Prince Battle Royal blood bath only excites me more. I wonder which members of Pika's infiltration squad will bite the dust, however.

...

Also, what will happen if the Phantom Troupe are the bodyguards of some of the princes.? There are suppose to be meetings/dinners between ALL the princes. I'm sure Pika knows how some members look and likewise for the Troupe... wtf will happen? Obviously they would have to compose themselves but could they?! This arc has me on the edge of my seat bc Pika potentially has 2 forces to deal with in the Princes & the Troupe. It's unfathomable that he by himself can handle such ordeal. Especially when there's the fact that Kurapika's abilities may be known by the troupe (ending of Yorknew). Pika is my dude. I hope he overcomes the odds!

Can't deny that seeing the whole; the antagonists are as much a victim of a dehumanising governing system and strict parenting administered by desperate mothers to tailor them into ruthless prospective monarchs, brought a smile to my face. Knowing how good Togashi is for humanising his villains (see Killua as an excellent example of how he has previously developed this idea) and something tells me he won't be recycling. I expect very good things from this arc (not that I wasn't already as it was already showcasing a classic battle royal e.g. one where the outcome actually has consequence and the outcome can't be easily determined just by looking at who the main character is.) We all know how Togashi loves to completely derail our expectations for how an arc will proceed.

This chapter was incredible. I love the Dark Continent Arc so far - and this chapter just increases my hype.

MELODY!!! At long last she's back - I've waited forever for her to show up again. Bisky & Hanzo returning was also really nice.

Seriously though Woble's mom is really intelligent - I like her already. Seriously though that little flashback bit culminating in that full panel of Woble was super emotional I almost teared up. I really don't want something horrible happening to them!

The art throughout this arc is remaining consistent - which is great. I'm in love Togashi.

I really hope he doesn't go on hiatus again anytime soon. Anyone think there's a chance of an anime return if the manga keeps going?

HxH is a very successful series in Japan. There's a very high chance it'll get an anime of the Dark Continent arc and beyond, but that will several years from now because of how lazy Togashi is.

Also, very interesting chapter on the setup for the death battle of the princes. Glad HxH is back!

Kurapika at the center is great.

And really glad to see Hanzo back.

The battle royal between prince seems interesting.
