Guys, it was obviously for his fame.... He's the dark horse remember?

I was just thinking, I wouldn't be half surprised if the spiders went to the dark continent. They got screentime in every single arc since the 'spider' arc. That'll make Kurapika relevant for sure.

I don't get why people are so confused about leorio, how many hunter/doctors have we seen so far in hxh. I'm guessing that a hunter that also strives to become a doctor would be a lot better off in going to the DC than some top doctor with no skills outside of healing a lone.



From the political stand point he did win the election/in the lead so he would help as the poster boy for the expedition. Also could be the current zodiacs are playing underhanded games trying to tie ging down by bringing gon/friends closer to the core of the association.



Or would the people confused about this rather have some random new character we know nothing at all about come as a doctor, which means leo and kurapika don't get invited into the zodiacs or invited to the DC. Therefore another arc without them.

Finally we'll get to see more of Leorio! I don't mind not seeing Gon and Killua for this whole arc.



Leorio + Kurapika + Ging + Beyond + Zodiacs + Pariston + Chimera Ants = EPIC overload!

kurapica and leorio are back.....and they're part of the zodiacs.....hells to the yeah!!! too hyped for this now. togashi you better not take a hiatus man!!



and as for leorio being picked for the expedition: cheadle basically explained that he had "the greatest image out of everyone inside the organization". I take it that means basically every hunter knows of him and respects him greatly. so it's partly because he's somewhat of a figurehead, but leorio still has a lot of potential as well. I really can't wait to see how he develops this arc. Also can't wait to see how his relationship with kurpica will look like, cause kurapica didn't seem to give a crap about his friends anymore, but we will see.



I know a lot of people don't mind if gon and killua won't be in this arc, but I still need at least an update on what they're doing. I know for sure that they will pop up eventually though, hopefully soon. I can't really see gon playing too much of a major role in this arc, but he most likely will still be there. as for killua, his sister alluka has been hinted to be from the dark continent, so I can kinda see him playing a role in this somehow. can't wait to see what toagshi has planned.

Hey I don't know if anyone else wrote the same thing or something similar but I think that possibly the video with the scarlet eyes was made by the phantom troupe, Kortopi must have recreated the eyes with his nen ability and they must have filmed that to get Kurapika's attention and to avenge their cumrade who was killed, so they're going to the Dark Continent too :I   I hope at least some of you understand my theory lel

Also Kurapika was already pretty strong with Emperor Time, it's just that he won't have an overwhelmingly one-sided match-up (Kurapika:Ryodan) when going into the Dark Continent.

Yeah, I heard about that a week or so ago. I'm curious as to what he means. Me and a friend were speculating that maybe none of the MC's would be in this arc, but that obviously isn't the case.

never though leorio and kurapika would be had picked that way… the way things are going…Gon and killua are sure to join in soon…

So that's where Kurapika has been. I would love it if he joins the expedition
