Hunter x Hunter Chapter 339 Discussion

I don't quite get the part about the butlers. Was that the beast that Gon met in the Hunter exam who brought them to the first phase? So he's a butler now?



Well this really marks the end of the Chimera ant arc I guess. Now for a new arc since Kurapika has finally showed up.

I foresee 3 possible ways to continue from here, (and these can happen in any order);

1. Time-skip

2. Filler

3. Answer any questions we have/ tying up loose ends

(Did I miss anything?)



Worse case scenario, the manga ends, (but lets not think about that one too much, shall we?).

I don't get the picture with Gon stand with a bunch of other people, who are they, and why is everyone watching them? So much happening in this chapter, am so lost.

No, they are watching those birds, remember them? Spinner, the girl with gum said about 120 chapters ago that she wanted to preserve some mines and those birds live there/fly around there? Not sure. And they're showing everyone the beautiful scene when all birds cover the sky.

The end of this arc was absolutely, beyond any shadow of a doubt, beautiful.  There are no other words to describe it.  Togashi made such a mess over the past arc but all of it fell into perspective with this chapter.  Both Kaitou and Shoot are back (I have a thing about my favorite characters always dying or vanishing; one of my others was Pokkle).



This chapter means so much more when you read it in a silent environment, too, which fortunately, I had the pleasure of experiencing.

Wow was a great chapter as always

i was shocked about how kurapika looks

and i think that the next chapter will be the beggining of another arc

An arc about what happen with the others after the Ants arc.

Beautiful, yeah this is definitely what the 2011 anime should end with. Great stuff



Some details, though like how Kurapika looks. He looks at the eyes and he almost seems....sad? And that suit, really interested in what is up with him. Otherwise, I like that this paid homage to all of the great characters we've met and, I'll admit, that I felt a certain satisfaction at the chapter ending with the clasped hands of my favorite two characters.
