Ging... New arc... Pandora's box...i'm praying for a hiatus now (1-2 weeks)... if it influences better artwork... Killua... great chapter..

Back to the roots!!

LOVED IT....Finally the universe is expanding just as I wanted, my wishes are coming true...now for Kurapika...





A better artwork would REALLY help this time since it's an adventure arc.

One of the things I always loved about Hunter x Hunter is how the characters are never slaves to the story and instead make things that makes sense for the themselves. Every character in Hunter x Hunter feels like the main character of his/her own story. A lot of manga have an increasing amount of characters that all just stay with the main character for no apparent reason, making them feel far less like real people. (I think I said the exact same thing when Kurapika and Leorio first left the group after the Zoldyck Family arc)



It makes sense for Gon and Killua to part ways here. Partly from what happened in the Chimera Ant arc and also that Killua has talked about how he wanted to find a goal in his life, and now that has become to take care of Alluka. And it's not like they hate or will never see each other again. It's still sad to see them say good bye though.

I actually really liked how the Gon and Killua splitting up was handled. It was definitely emotional, particularly with how they didn't want to part and the way they looked when they turned away from one another, but it wasn't overboard. It was well done, imo. And, this scene between Ging and Gon was much better than the first one. Really interested in this "other world". I guess this would explain why Ging is so hard to find, haha.
