I thought so too.

Slow, predictable chapter.  Sometimes you need that though, and I think that going back through the past 30-50 chapters, it's something the series needs.  That momentary breather before the end.  I stand by my previous predictions.



Jesuvius, I totally second some Leorio and Kurapika chapter.  They've been gone for at least half the series at this point and it's kinda gotten old.  I want my gang of four back together.  They were all there when Kurapika was "sick" from using his Nen, why aren't they there for Gon?  They should have sensed this whole power struggle by now.  They're not unaware.

I actually really liked it. We get a glimpse of Gon, we learn more about Werefin and Palm was cool.



The competition sounds kind of weird but still understandable because of Meruem's explanation.



Though I am getting this feeling this manga keeps putting one step back, and two steps forward. I'm getting the feeling of a nearing conclusion, but I also had that with the King vs Netero fight.

I know it's of no importance to the main story at all right now, but I wanna see what Leorio and Kurapika are up to. I completely forgot what they did last. Even a one shot would be fine

At least its better than them getting wiped or some worse way of why the 'enemy' doesn't find them or take care of them faster.



Although the hostage exchange was over the top.. I really hope that doesn't go right, or at all at this point.
