Hunter x Hunter Chapter 261 Discussion

I finally caught up with the weekly releases. whew.



great chapter. Can't wait for the upcoming battles.

I started reading Hunter x Hunter sometime 2006 (during a big hiatus), so this chapter here was the first one that came out after I had caught up. Pretty much exactly 10 years ago now, wow.



I used to write about the new chapters on another forum and I really didn't like the whole Palace Invasion, mainly because I couldn't remember anything in between all the hiatuses, just as with some of the other commentators on here. It will be interesting to re-read the sequence as I read my old thoughts and compare them to my current ones.



Anyway, about the chapter, I like how Welfin has plans to become the King just as pretty much all the ants, but that he instead wants to take over for Bizeff. Also, always thought Hina looked too human.

Yeah same, I forgot all the names and who all these people...ants... monsters... were. And no Gon and Killua in the chapter... T__T

Interesting, it seems I've gotten to the chapters where people actually was reading it as it went along. Should be interesting to see some opinions of the invasion as it originally happened.



In any case, I like the short part with Komugi imagining what the King looks like. I wonder how she would react to his appearance if she ever somehow found out?  Pouf is right that he is irritated, but it isn't what he thinks, it isn't the Gungi games so much as him wondering questioning his purpose.

Though I didn't get what most of the people were saying because it's been a year since I read the last chapter.. :/

It was a pretty decent chapter...though after all this time it would have been nice to have a chapter that at least had Gon or Killua in it...



In anycase, I was really optimistic at first, but now I'm starting to think that before too long we will see another hiatus.
