Hunter x Hunter Chapter 217 Discussion

Okay this bit with Palm, an adult woman, wanting to go out with Gon is creepy. But she is a deeply disturbing person from the start so I guess it not out of character. People always talk of Hisoka being a pedophile, but at least he never asked for a date.



Also, I've seen some people interpret Gon's comment on his previous dates as him being molested or abused as a child. I really don't understand how people can even think that. He says most of the dates were with Mito, meaning he probably did the same things with Mito as with the other women. And Mito does seem like a nice person and not really some kind of rapist pimp. Killua, being an unknowing child, probably thinks that Gon is talking about something a lot more adult than what Gon actually means when he says that he learned a lot of stuff.



Some of you people reading this might think it's weird to mention it, but I've actually seen it quite some times. Just thought I'd write my take on it, and this is as good of a place as any to do it.

                        Really good sequence at the castle.I think the King's words about human's showing mercy to cows and pigs is a good look into how the Chimera Ants view us humans. Also, lol at the bombshell in regards to Gon's dating life.
