                        The second exam phase turned out to be a lot more enjoyable than I anticipated coming of the Madhouse adaptation. It's kinda interesting that this portion, in most ways, ended up to be better in the manga considering everything else (the first 11 chapters & like thirty to forty Chimera Ant chapters) I've read so far has been superior in the anime. I just find it kinda weird that this is the segment of the story where the manga shines brighter so far. Like, I think I preferred how this doesn't conclude with more Gon promoting, making four things I disagree with Madhouse on, albeit most our minor. Yeah, I realize this doesn't really mean anything to those who are just reading the manga but I thought I'd throw it out.

I see this has been changed in the anime. It was handled differently in the anime version from 2011. The manga version is way shorter.
