God Damnit, I knew it was coming... but I was also fooled into thinking he was alive for a second when they just said he was "arrested". ;____________; is all I can say.

T_T Ren...one of my favorite characters is gone and now my other favorite character will have a massive breakdown ;_;

I knew he was going to die, but I had no idea it would be this soon after we all figured it out. And I can't believe it's going to end soon, but I definitely think it is! I wonder what will happen now, will the manga continue going back and forth between present and future or will we just jump to the future soon?

I can't believe it either. I agree. Next chapter will definitely be heart wrenching. I got goosebumps when I think about how Nobu heard someone playing guitar. It could have been Ren's spirit saying goodbye or something. My heart gets caught in my throat once I see all the characters teary-eyed. (except yasu of course) but I think its much more painful for him. And again he must become the pillar of strength for Nana and the rest. Sigh. But it makes sense.  Now I know why the little boy was named after Ren.

If so, maybe they all THINK he's dead, then they THINK Nana commits suicide (she runs away), only to find out Ren will survive after she's gone.



I think the 'Ren' they're talking about is Takumi's kid....? Not Nana's Ren.

This was before we had seen child-Ren, so i had thought the whole time she was talking about adult-Ren and he was alive!  okay, i'm convinced now.  Ren's gone.

I just can't believe what happened on the last translated chapter of Nana, but I can not have peace till I find the Japanese manga series somewhere on the web. Because in Japan the 19th volume is already published, but we are reading the thirteenth. This chapter with Ren's death that we've been reading this month, in Japan was published minimum three years ago.

If someone can find Japanese Nana, please tell us. I was watching the Japanese official Nana site and there were some scenes with Ren in the future volumes.

That gave me hope. But still the sadness is not leaving me. ;__;
