Diagoro is a great kid. Definitely has that samurai mentality, honor, and etiquette. Itto was hired for an assassination, but the family that hired him asked if he would leave Diagoro there while he was away completely the job. Their son finally had someone to play with and they got along well together. After awhile, the little boy gets jealous that his parents keep praising Diagoro, so he comes up with the idea of breaking stuff so he can blame it on Diagoro. They let it slide the first time, but the second time the mom punishes Diagoro. The old man that works for the family sees this happen and can no longer let it continue, so he tells the boy that what he's doing is wrong. His parents overhear their conversation and the dad is livid that his son would do such a thing and yells at the mom to go apologize to Diagoro. Diagoro comes to the boys defense and breaks something, but they know he's just protecting their child. Even when betrayed, Diagoro remained a great friend.
