Kozure Ookami Chapter 63 Discussion

I loved Daigoro's reactions as they were really cute.

                        Diagoro's innocence while watching the woman perform her magic tricks was nice to see. It was nice of her to let him help out as a little assistant for the showas well.

This chapter had a surprising reveal at the end. The magic show is being exploited by an old drunkard man who goes to the shows and reveals their tricks to the crowd if they don't give him money for his booze. The guy running the show is tired of being exploited, so they have hire Itto. The old drunkard comes to the show to exploit more money from them, so they pay up, but his goons are unsatisfied with their payment. They threaten to ruin the show, but the magician from the beginning of the chapter makes a bet against him that she'll wager her life in exchange for his eyes if he can't see through her trick. Upon seeing her trick, he realizes he came up with the trick, but only taught it to one person, this person being his deceased wife. He's in disbelief and it's revealed that the female magician is his daughter. Unable to take his eyes, Itto does it for her as his payment and walks away. Pretty cool ending.
