Tragic but beautiful chapter, everything that Itto does just doesn’t feel like its being done by some bloodthirsty assassin

                        I still can't get used to all those tragedies.

So tragic, but it was great seeing him get his revenge.

This chapter took a hard turn at the end. At first I was like, damn these pervy Japanese guys are thirsty. Then I find out the guy running the show is pimping out his lady. I'm thinking, "how could you do that? How could you let another man sleep with your wife?" But once I saw those tears, I knew this whole situation was all part of his scheme. His goal was to get the attention of the yakuza guys in that han, so that he could provide his services at the gambling house and find a specific man who he was targeting, the oyabun.

I like how Itto is just sitting there waiting and watching and Diagoro ruins the gamblers moment of anticipation. When they started talking shit about Itto not playing and wasting space there, I thought he was going to start killing people, but instead he shuts them up by whipping out a large bag full of ryōs. That definitely got the oyabun's attention. He comes out to direct the men to take a break and watch the woman perform, but the performance was merely a charade from the guy pimping his wife. His whole plot was to fulfill his revenge and kill the oyabun for murdering his son and raping his wife and leaving her catatonic. After killing the oyabun, he directs Itto to kill both him and his wife so that they may find peace and be with their son.
